Dean has been a practicing financial planner since 1982 and is the President of Shasta Consulting Group. He has been building a broad and diverse knowledge in Tax, Pension and Investment planning. He is a real advocate for education and the team approach and continues to expand his expertise.

He has attained his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), the Chartered Financial Consultant (CH.F.C), as well as his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designations. He is also recognized as a top advisor and is a qualifying member of the “Million Dollar Round Table”. He continues to specialize in the investment field and head’s up the investment division of the practice. Dean follows a unique nine step process to identify the top performing fund managers in the world. He continues to monitor performance and research new and innovative products that are beneficial to clients. He has been active in industry affairs, writing articles and as a featured speaker at conferences within the industry. He was a past Director with LUAC and past President of the “LIMAC” of Vancouver.

Dean was born and raised in B.C. and spent his University years in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, graduating in 1982. He is married to Sally, has three children and makes his home in West Vancouver.

Donna is the Client Relations Manager and Administrative Associate for Dundee Private Investors Inc., Shasta Consulting Group and Optimum Strategies. She is your first contact with our firm when you call or come into our office. Donna enjoys meeting and working with clients and helping them with any questions or concerns they may have.

Born and raised in Surrey, she now lives in Langley with her family. Donna married her high school sweetheart and has been married for 23 years. They have three children, Jeremy, Amanda and Kyle who they enjoy immensely. Donna enjoys camping, skiing both water and snow. She has been involved as a leader in Girl Guides for 13 years and two years ago took 17 girls back packing to Europe for six weeks.
