Fletcher Campbell B/A (Econ.), B.Comm. (Hon) Certified Financial Planner
Fletcher has been in the financial planning profession for 13 years following a background in public accounting and managing an audit department for a period of 20 years. The long-term success of clients, personal financial plans is of paramount importance. This comes from actively listening and understanding individuals’ goals and objectives, including risk tolerances and placing appropriate strategies in place to achieve these objectives. Being technically well informed, well organized, professional and extremely thorough is an important trait in the financial planning environment, and a focus on continuing education is mandatory.
Following a professionally mandated financial planning process that touches both the hard facts, being all financial details as well as the soft facts touching what are the wishes, dreams, concerns and challenges, either an investment plan or comprehensive financial plan is prepared to address these needs. Fletcher likes to work with clients who take an active role in their plan and will come in 1-2 times a year to review investments and the progress of their plan, since the constantly changing dynamics of the marketplace as well as frequent changes to client’s current circumstances requires such active attention.
Fletcher’s expertise has the greatest value for people who:
- Are motivated to address their personal financial issues
- Are comfortable with delegating responsibilities to professionals
- Will share this responsibility with their Financial Planner
- Have strong family, community values and are largely homeowners
- Are committed to do what is required to achieve their goals.
